When I moved to Chile (gasp) almost a year ago, I accidentally gave up music.
This is how....
I bought a new laptop shortly before I left and had way (way way) more trouble than necessary copying my music onto it, especially considering that I had the help of a computer engineer! Then, what music I was able to actually transfer somehow became all out of order in iTunes. Mysterious. Well, it really pissed me off so I kind of just tried to forget about it. I did a really good job and forgot about music entirely! Oops!
It's decided. My belated new years resolution is to bring music back into my life.
Readers, I need your help! What have I been missing out on?
Thanks! Besos!
Allie

What kind of music do you like?
My current obsession is Leona Lewis. Her version of Run is beautiful.
Guilty pleasure = Pussycat Dolls, Hush Hush and When I Grow Up.
Oh, yeah. I forgot to include what kind of music I like. I listen(ed) to mostly indie rock. All time favorites include belle and sebastian, of montreal, radiohead, elliot smith, wolf parade, the fiery furnaces and spoon. Guilty pleasures took up a surprisingly (guiltily...) large percentage of my listening time and included destiny's child, ace of base and my chemical romance (the guiltiest guilty pleasure of all).
I'll check those out, Kyle. Thanks!!
I had Fleet Foxes playing as I read this entry and I believe they are a definite Allie-worthy band and perfect baking music. Also, do you have the new Of Montreal album that came out during the fall? It's trippy and wonderful.
MGMT!!!
BEIRUT! Tokyo Police Club. FLEET FOXES. Bon Iver. Lykke Li.
...oh god I'll think of more
The new Animal Collective album is awesome, "Merriweather Post Pavillion". Especially the song "My Girls", I'm so hooked on it right now.
